Prawle Fair 2010 will soon be here. The village of East Prawle at the southernmost tip of Devon holds its annual fair on the village green and welcomes everyone along. Come and enjoy a traditional village fair; with everything from authentic fairground rides to china smashing, donkey rides, staying on the greasy pole, fortune telling and so much more. The cakes on sale will have your mouths watering in anticipation, there is music from a marvellous band called Hogwash and with a cafe and pub in situ you are spoilt for choice of refreshments. There is something for everyone and the fair starts with a fancy dress competition that is open to everyone although the children almost always outshine the adults. There is ample parking and you are guaranteed a wonderful time. We have requested sunshine and are told that the request has been acknowledged. This year we are hoping to be visited by several leading poilticians of all hues, but best of all, they will be in the stocks - waiting for your soggy sponge.
